Service Description

SistahBoss Leadership Advance (SBLA) is a five-month cohort experience designed specifically for Black women leaders at all stages of their careers. This program is thoughtfully curated to foster deep connections and elevate leadership effectiveness through intentional personal and professional growth. Participants will engage in five in-person workshops and one individual coaching session. Program Participants Benefit From: - Training modules tailored to the unique challenges and realities faced by Black women leaders across all business sectors. - A safe and supportive space for self-reflection, relationship-building, and resource sharing with like-minded women. - Peer learning, facilitated discussions, and hands-on activities in an interactive and highly participatory format. - 15 hours of personal and professional development dedicated to advancing leadership goals. SBLA Curriculum: Workshop 1: SistahBoss 101 [Self-awareness and setting leadership development goals] Affirm your SistahBoss identity while debunking the myths and tropes of Black women in leadership. Identify your purpose, values, and leadership growth priorities in a supportive affinity group environment. Workshop 2: Powerful Presentations [Executive presence and public speaking practice] Create your leadership development plan prioritizing core competencies and critical skills. Increase acumen with leading self and others through change and transition. Workshop 3: Career Navigation [Setting career direction and performance strategy] Explore ways to increase professional success and create career pathways. Introduction to the Be a SistahBoss S.T.A.R.™ Performance Framework. Workshop 4: Legacy Minded Leadership [Leadership effectiveness and collective learning lessons] Cultivate a legacy-driven mindset for sustainable leadership impact and influence. Culminate program participation with a capstone presentation. Workshop 5: SBLA Moving Forward [Capstone Project] Culminating presentation highlighting key discoveries and commitments for action resulting from the SBLA Experience.
